A Data-Driven Approach to Meet Market Challenges

In a rapidly changing automotive industry, Bentley is committed to becoming an all-electric brand by 2030, backed by a $3 billion investment. Integral to this commitment is Bentley100, a strategy to streamline operations and enhance customer service. Chief Data Officer Andy Moore and his team selected Qadatra as the ideal solution to support data literacy and empower employees at all levels to make informed decisions.

“Bentley100 is underpinned by data in every aspect—from usage to communication and action. This approach will guide us into the future.”

Enhancing Manufacturing with Data Insights

On Bentley’s workshop floor, Qadatra provides a comprehensive view of data that allows employees to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and quickly identify and address issues. With Qadatra’s drillable dashboards, employees see real-time trends, allowing them to take proactive measures. “Qadatra eliminates the need for multiple reports, making it easier to diagnose problems and celebrate successes,” Moore said.

Delivering Exceptional Customer Experiences

Exceptional customer journeys are central to Bentley’s brand. By integrating all customer data within Salesforce and visualizing it in Qadatra, Bentley gains a comprehensive view of each customer’s interactions—from website visits to event attendance. This data enables Bentley to offer tailored experiences that enhance brand loyalty.

“Connecting all our customer data sources in Qadatra means we’re no longer meeting customers for the first time every time.”

Building a Strong Data Culture Across the Business

With support from Bentley’s leadership, Moore’s team identified data champions within each department, helping them migrate to Qadatra. This dual approach established a robust data culture, automating manual reporting processes and saving employees significant time. Currently, Bentley has around 100 Qadatra creators and 700 viewers, covering more than half of its office workforce.

In addition, Bentley’s future digital talent initiative upskills current employees and recruits new talent, ensuring that data literacy continues to grow across the company. “Our data apprentices now present directly to the board, bridging communication between shop floor teams and executives,” Moore said.

As Bentley Motors looks to a sustainable future, Qadatra empowers employees to make faster, data-driven decisions, unifying the company’s operations and reinforcing Bentley’s commitment to craftsmanship and innovation.
